July 2019 Update

It’s been a few months since we have shared how things are progressing.

Jenn has been working diligently through all that her doctors have prescribed: a ruthlessly narrow diet, a significant regiment of daily supplements and medications, and a host of detoxification treatments and physical activity. From my perspective, it seems like she is training for the Olympics!

We are observing progress, but it is dearly earned, inch by inch.

Jenn has been glad to resume some of her kinesiology client work, though still needing to manage her output. And recently, she braved the 5K in the Canada Day “Moose Jawg Charity Road Race”, which was certainly challenging for her, but encouraging to have accomplished.

Thank you to all of you who have been giving monthly! Quite literally, your generosity has been seeing us through. With ongoing costs for medicine, supplements, and daily and monthly treatments of various kinds, there is no way we would be able to keep making it each month without you. We can’t say thank you enough.

The next hurdle

Back in March, Jenn learned that she has some dental infections which are likely responsible for some of the neurological issues and other effects she has been experiencing since last summer.

Dr. Hoffman has prescribed dental surgery to have these infections removed. Because the infections are near her brain, this is a crucial step to take, and is part of the slow and patient work of gradually clearing away the causal roots of Jenn’s condition.

The treatment is fairly straightforward, but costly since it is not covered by our dental insurance. The surgery will cost $4,300. And since Jenn will need to travel to Calgary, there will be a few hundred dollars in travel expenses as well.

Would you consider helping us?

This treatment is beyond our means. Would you consider supporting us so that Jenn can break through the next barrier on this long road to recovery?

Jenn’s appointment is scheduled for July 23. With your help, Jenn can keep the appointment and make this critical stride for her health this summer.

Thanks for your care and prayers,

Luke
